UA Student Injured in Bus Accident in Serious Condition

bus accident

A University of Alabama student is in critical condition following a three-vehicle accident involving a charter bus carrying UA cheerleaders on Tuesday night.

The student, Natalie Baine of Roswell, Ga., was a passenger in a truck that was involved in a collision with another car and the charter bus as the cheerleaders and students were returning home from the BCS Championship game in Miami.

Baine is said to have sustained life-threatening injuries from the crash.

Two others involved in the collision were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Accidents involving charter buses are not as uncommon as many would believe. Given the size and weight of a charter bus, when one is involved in a collision with much smaller cars, serious and debilitating injuries and property damage often results.

If you or a loved one has been injured in a charter bus accident, we encourage you to contact our lawyers right away as you may be able to file a claim for recover compensation for any damages related to the wreck.
