Hit-and-Run Accident Kills Bicyclist in Baldwin County

Hit-and-Run Accident Kills Bicyclist

A vehicle hit and killed a bicyclist in south Baldwin County Sunday night. The driver then fled the scene of the accident, according to Alabama State Troopers.

State Troopers received a call from Baldwin County 911 shortly after 7 a.m. Monday morning.

The identity of the bicyclists has not yet been released.

Investigators are searching for an early-model Saturn, most likely a 2000-2002 model year, that may be maroon in color with a gray pinstripe and a damaged front end.

Accidents between bicyclists and motor vehicles often end in catastrophic injuries on behalf of the biker, given that they have limited protection from the force of impact.

Cases in which someone is hit and the responsible party flees the scene of the accident can be difficult. Our attorneys at Citrin Law Firm have experience dealing with hit-and-run accidents and may be able to help you with your injury claim.
