head-on collision

A 19-year-old girl was killed in a head-on collision near Tuscaloosa, AL on Thursday, September 6, 2012. The teen was killed around 3:30 a.m. on U.S. HWY 11 when another driver lost control on the wet road and swerved into her lane. According to police, she was not wearing a seat belt and was killed instantly.

Driving without a seat belt tremendously increases the risk of serious injury or death. An online study revealed that less than 70% of Americans wear seat belts on a regular basis. If only 90% of drivers and passengers wore seat belts, it would prevent more than 5,000 deaths each year.

At the Citrin Law Firm, we are dedicated to enhancing the safety of teen drivers. Making a simple decision to “click it” will not only prevent getting a ticket but will also save your life so that you can be “Alive at 25”!
