Fatal Accident on Highway 59

A 27-year old man was killed early Thursday morning when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree. The incident took place on HWY 59 near Stockton, AL around 4:00am. According to the Alabama Highway Patrol, the driver was NOT wearing a seat belt and was exceeding the speed limit. Police pronounced him dead at the scene of the crash.
