Walton Hickman

Walton joined Andy Citrin Injury Attorneys in February 2017. He focuses on cases involving 18-wheeler, motorcycle, and automobile wrecks; industrial accidents; product defects; catastrophic injury; wrongful death; and fraud.

Throughout his career, Walton has represented both corporate and individual clients with a variety of legal needs. He has handled estate planning, real estate issues, landlord-tenant problems, probate matters, domestic relations, personal injury cases, and insurance defense. Walton served as an assistant district attorney for the Second Judicial Circuit for seven years in addition to his private practice. Walton has also worked as the assistant city attorney for the cities of Evergreen, Greenville, Georgiana, and McKenzie. He is experienced in both transactional and trial work and is certified in alternative dispute resolution.

Walton is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern, and Middle Districts of Alabama. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Baldwin County Bar Association, the Mobile County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Alabama Association for Justice. Walton has served on the Executive Council for the Alabama State Bar Young Lawyers Section and the Alabama State Bar Local Bar Outreach Task Force.

Walton grew up in Greenville, Alabama, where he attended Butler County Public Schools. Following high school, Walton attended The University of Alabama where he earned his bachelor’s degree in communication and information sciences. Walton then attended Thomas Goode School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate and subsequently was licensed to practice law in the state of Alabama in 2006.

Walton is married to Sarah Whitfield Hickman and is the proud father of Addie, Ward, and Anne. He and his family currently live in Orange Beach, Alabama.
