Monday morning, a Dothan teenager was killed after he lost control of his car.
According to Alabama state troopers, the victim, 19-year-old Danny E. Brown Jr., was driving on U.S. 84 about a mile west of Ashford. Brown lost control of his vehicle, a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer, which overturned.
Brown was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to Southeast Alabama Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
A child who was in the car with Brown was treated for minor injuries and was released.
